I have had one terrible day.  That weather is awful and that added to my day being off.  It is blowing a gale.  Was trying to work in the garage and had to have the front door up because I was waiting for a repair man, well it kept banging up and down and I would almost jump off my seat.  Next door have a 40" Gum tree and it drops nuts and bark and small branches onto the garage roof, sounded liked world war 3.  Really not cutting weather but I persevered.  Was doing a name for my granddaughters teacher and I must have picked the hardest wood I had.  Broke 2 blades before I had finished the inside cuts of the second letter.  Then it bounced and landed on my thumb now I have a hug blood blister.  Packed up and came inside. Wifi playing up because of the wind and the repair man did not arrive until 3.00pm. Tried to get Terry a pair of Dr Who slippers from Think Geek and they only have womens in the ones he likes, took over half an hour to find that out because of the Wifi.   :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  :curse:  Really hope that tomorrow is better.

Now i don't feel alone with problems,Yes repair bills seem to be astronomical no matter what's broke. How many times has the wood jumped up and slammed on my fingers too.I think this only happens with scroll reverse blades but could be wrong. but blood blisters are inevitable when it happens, ooh the pain! Things aways get worse before they get better,every-day's different!

I think I can match that. I had a bad week. My AC/Heat pack died and a replacement set me back $8000. Three days after having that replaced I was out doing errands and returned to a house full of smoke. My washing machine had burned out (bearings) and a replacement cost me $500. Then at the end of the week, I awoke to a flat tire. 3 hours later, I was at the tire shop and ended with a $600 set of tires. Man, I hope it is true that bad things come in threes and not fours. lol

Well today only got slightly better.  It was still very windy and now wet as well.  HAD to do some washing after being without a washing machine for 11 days. So now I have washing all around my lounge room.  Still had to endure world war 3 with the nuts etc. banging off the roof of the garage, but I managed to finish the name even if my shoulder and wrists are aching from trying to hold the wood down.

Sounds like a right bugger of a day Marg, sorry to hear that.  Perhaps you should persuade your neighbours to cut that tree down.  Ought to be enough timber in that to last you for a while?

She's a right royal pain of a tree hugger Rob, so the tree stays.

Wilson I am so sorry to hear about your week it makes my day/days sound absolutely normal.  ;)

Tomorrow is another day and the weather forecast is looking a bit brighter and less windy.  Here's hoping.  ;)

I'm sorry Marg, just keep a sense of humor, find a joke somewhere in that. :D

May sharing with us ease the pain.

Remember:

Bobby Mcferrin...Ooh-ooh-hoo-hoo-ooh hoo-hoo-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh / Don't worry / Woo-ooh-woo-ooh-woo-ooh-ooh / Be happy…

Give me a sense of humor; Lord, Give me the grace to see a joke, To get some happiness from life And pass it on to other folk.

On days like that I just think life is a cess pool and we are all fecal material floating at the top. But ____ happens and like constipation this too will pass. Sorry warped humor but on days like those sometimes a little smile and laugh helps. I pray things get straightened out and back to some kind of normal for everyone.
