Kepy Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Boy, did I goof. After doing the large wall size monograms, I thought why not an ornament. These old eyes are not up to doing things this small and you can't stack cut as each has to be different. Lucky2, bobscroll and amazingkevin 3 Quote

LarryEA Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Kepy, What's the 'M' stand for? Was it supposed to be a 'W' instead? Otherwise, I don't see a mistake. Looks great to me. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Looks great to me Kepy. That is the problem with individualized ornaments. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote

wombatie Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 You did a terrific job even if it is a smaller size. Well done. Marg Quote
ike Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 I know what you mean about your age, i am in the same boat just a couple months older than you. I am going to get an magnifying glass with light and hope that helps. Quote
Kepy Posted December 8, 2015 Author Report Posted December 8, 2015 Larry, the M is the last initial of the last name. I have one of those magnifying lights but seem to have trouble making a connection between what I am seeing and what I am doing. Quote
jerry1939 Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Hi Kepy, Many years ago I got a magnifying visor that flips down from a headband. Used it for carving at the time. Now use it also for scrolling & drilling entry holes. Love it !! The lens is getting cloudy. Santa will bring me a new one: http://www.ehobbytools.com/contents/en-us/p3743_Product_3565.html Be sure you get a 12" focal length (or greater.) Most of them on the market have a closer focal length. You could get your nose bent with the top blade clamp. I wouldn't consider sawing without. jerry Quote
