WIFI CONNECTION AND A TABLET????

Bought my Wife a Tablet.  Decided to get things going for her.  Turned it on.  Piece of Cake.  Followed the Prompts

Said WELCOME ....  Got to the area to type my password FOR THE WIFI.  Did so, but was the WRONG PASSWORD.

 

Now of course I cannot connect to the Internet due to this.  I am HOPING someone out there has this tablet and has

the Knowledge to help me. 

 

ITS A ....RCA 10" Viking Pro Tablet.    I really, really hope one of you can lend me your expertise.

Sorry Danny, I don't know your password either. lol

 

You may have to go to settings and wifi to enter the password, that is once you remember it. I have a Samsung tablet and use it everyday and love it.

Hey Danny, both my wife and I have iPads. They work great. I do 99% of my computer work on it. But alas, we don't know your password either!!

Danny: If I understand your question. The tablet has locked you out when you entered the wrong password. You should be able to go into the settings app and switch off the wifi. That  should release the wrong password and let you start again from scratch. Unless you have entered a custom password the passkey should be located on the router somewhere. If ti is like mine it has to be done in all caps.

I googled    RCA 10" Viking Pro Tablet/forgot password    Do this and they tell you how to fix it!

Just remember one thing you must type it in lower case and upper case as it would normally be printed on the back of the router. Roly
