Just thought I would up date. Well the replacement went well it has been a week. PT twice a week and the joint is almost at 90 % making then smile. Pain is controlled and easying up. I hope to get off the pain pills completely and the blood thinners in the next week or so then can make attempt at scrolling. I don't want a little cut to get my saws all blood and the pain killers may make be more crazy than usual. I am walking well with a walker and feel good. I even walked without cane or walker. One of those Oh got to go get that and with out thinking just walked away and wife asked if I had forgot something. Hope all continues. Thanks all for your prayers they are working wonders.

I've been through two total knee replacements. Regaining function was not always without pain but I stuck to it. I now have as much function as the replacement allows. Best two surgeries I could have had. Pain free and life is normal. I would recommend you do it sooner rather than later as your rehab/recovery is easier if you have the surgery before you lose your muscle strength and flexibility.

My friend had his knees both worked on and a botched job at that. The pain he's in is tremendous. He says knee pain is the worsted and that once you go under the knife you will be always gong under the knife .Glad things went smooth for you!

Dan,

Thanks for the up-date and more prayers on the way.

You must really be doing well or the doctors in your area are

less greedy or something because around here they

want you to run to therapy at least 3 times a week and

usually request you to go Monday through Friday.

God Bless! Spirithorse

Isn't it amazing what doctors can do now!  Had a couple of girlfriends who had knees replaced and they don't have an ounce of trouble.  Got a good doctor get a good surgery results.  I had my hip replaced 12-1-14 and was back to normal before Christmas.  Did the therapy and followed all the rules and did just fine.  Being a Senior you don't usually heal as fast as younger people, however attitude has a whole lot to do with the healing process.  Good job Dan, have  the determination to get back on your feet!
