Tough Day

I don't remember if I posted this picture on here or now but here it is anyway.  When I made an framed it I felt it needed something more.  My wife said that horse (pony) shoes an barb wire would look good.  What do you all think?

I think the horse shoes distract from that beautiful portrait. The rustic frame is all that it needs.

The horseshoes are a great idea Delvsughn but I think they overpower a fabulous portrait. I do like the barb wire.

Trackman, I like the idea, but, I think you need to use smaller horseshoes. But,a cutting that looks as good as this one does, doesn't really need any enhansment.

Love the cutting.  Great job on all the detail.  Like the barb wire around it but not sure on the horse shoes.  But since you created it go with what you feel is best.  Thanks for sharing it with us, it looks super.

I posted this on the other forum also and got about the same comments.  It is great to get good honest opinions from people and not the normal pat on the back answers.  I don't think you can get better if no one tells you the truth.  The shoes are the smallest ones I could find and when you see the picture in person they don't look so overpowering.  But I see what some of you are saying.  I will be taking this to the local 4H fair in June and will let you all know what the judge thinks about it.  But again that is just another person's opinion.  And Kevin you are so right, the wife is always right and if the judge thinks it sucks it will be her fault. Thanks again everyone!!!

Picture is great. I think just the wire would do it. Horse shoes are kinda big. May if they were smaller.
