New to this forum but, not new to scrolling or Intarsia. Thought I'd post some of these to introduce myself.

These are modifications of teddy bear patterns from my teacher, Judy Gale Roberts. And, yes, she does know I screw around with her patterns, She gets a copy of the modified pattern and a picture of each bear, I've done. She even included a couple into her teddy bear sets.

I do a lot of other intarsia projects and I, also, do segmented wood turning. But the teddies are popular and folks keep asking for characters that aren't available. So far I have been able to keep up.

Hi Tony and welcome. I am also a newbie here, but also a complete newbie i.e. new to both the saw and intarsia. I am lucky enough to live within 40 minutes of Judy's shop in Seymour, TN and got to take her beginners class back in May. She is a wonderful lady and I am sure from what I saw, she is more then happy to have you "screw around" with her patterns to create new ideas. These look great. I bought several of her patterns, I love all her work. Will have to see if I have some of the teddy bears. I really like yours. My son was a baseball player for many tears so I really like him. Thanks for showing your work, as s newbie, I enjoy seeing others work and seeing how they did the work.
