Rolf Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) I posted this on my Home forum Scroll saw woodworking and Crafts and thought I would post it here also. As you may know Fox Chapel also publishes lots of adult coloring books. Mindy asked me to do an Intarsia piece from one of them. It was very difficult to choose as there were so many really great designs that I could go nuts with. I decided on keeping it simple and decided on this one. It is about 6" in diameter. Red heart, Yellow Heart, Lignum Vitae (body) Wenge for the eyes, maple backer and a bit of green paint on the edge for a bit more pop. the body is much greener in real life. meflick Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 Rolf - I already commented on the other forum - its a great piece. From what I have seen, ,there are people on one forum but not the other and vise versa while there are some of us on both. As a result - I think it is great to share on both forums to let a larger audience see your work. thanks for sharing. Quote
Rolf Posted August 27, 2016 Author Report Posted August 27, 2016 The Scroll Saw woodworking and crafts forum was where I started and made lots of friends and learned tons of stuff. They were forced to change the server and software a while back and really took a hit for it. But that said it will always be my home! This forum and several on facebook are also great so I try to visit all of them. Quote
