A few trivets

Have been busy lately making a mobile workbench

and a couple of sawhorses

so I was a little rusty when I got back to cutting.  These trivets are for my next craft fair at the end of September.  Cut from reclaimed timber as usual, finished with BLO and beeswax.

I have cut Kepy's trivet before but much smaller.  This one is 8 inches or 20cm diameter.  It is one of my favourite patterns.

Great job on the mobile work bench and saw horses.  But glad to see you got back to your saw.  Those are some beautiful trivets. I like them all.  Like you I really like the one by Kepy but I think I like the butterfly as well.  Would be heard to pick just one.  hope they are good sellers for you at your show next month.

Great job on them all.  I too like the Kepy one.  Can't beat using reclaimed wood for projects when one gets a chance, I do it all the time, compliments of the landfill where I work.

Very nice work.  I am just jealous as haven't been able to be in the shop for some time.  My Mother had a light stroke and as her care giver, it has kept me hopping.  I also had a really bad reaction to a sulfa drug so am doing good to just keep moving.

Kepy - I am sorry you haven't been able to be in your shop for a while.  I hope both you and your mother are on the mend and perhaps you will be able to find some time in your shop sooner then later. Love your trivet design.
