Roly, the tray look s good, now that you've made it. A nice place to place a magnet to hold used blades, is close to the corner by the drill in your picture. I placed a magnet on my tray, and when I have a blade that I might want to reuse I lay it on the magnet. It saves me from always losing blades that I want to reuse, and it saves me a lot of looking for those blades.

Funny you should say that Len you can't see it but the arm for my light/magnifier lamp above the saw has a magnetic strip attached and I stick my used blades for switching sizes to it for easy access. Great minds as they say.  Roly

Made this table top today with edges thanks to the idea from JimErn and cut a few things to test it out and it worked a treat. Roly

Hi Don.

It's been changed into a tray extending out over the knees to catch all the bits and dust from landing on you legs and feet and has a raised edge all around which stops any items vibrating onto the floor. Hope that explains it for you. Roly
