jerry1939 Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 In my younger days I volunteered to serve my Country in the Army. Spent a year as a Company Clerk at Camp Tuto, Greenland. Halfway between the Artic Circle and the North Pole. Normal high temps of 50 in the light season & 30 below in the dark season, but there was a brief stretch of -54. You cannot describe the awesomeness of the Northern Lights. jerry ChelCass, Clayton717, LarryEA and 1 other 4 Quote

LarryEA Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 Went shopping today and the Price Chopper Grocery Store gave free coffee and donuts to those who have and are serving. I had a cup and a donut. Thank you all for your service. Without it we would not be the great nation we have been. Clayton717 and WayneMahler 2 Quote
