scrollerpete Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) Cut this box for my daughter's boss and with the inside I made coasters, just have to apply finish to them and ready to go. Box pattern is from Sheila Landry and the nativity scene is from Sue Mey. Also I recut the welcome sign that I broke before, different piece of oak but I think it will work, also have to put the finish to it. scrollerpete Posted November 23, 2016 Author Report Posted November 23, 2016 Thanks for the nice comments, I think I will lay off cutting Christmas trees for awhile, I cut 2 signs one after the other that's enough (broke the first one). I will use Tung oil on the sign and Kunos natural oil for the coasters, 2 to 3 coats and it looks just like glass. Will post the finished products. Quote
penquin Posted November 24, 2016 Report Posted November 24, 2016 They all look super, like the idea of re using the inside circles as coasters. Thanks for the idea. The welcome is great, is that your pattern? jim penquin Quote
