Haven't been in the shop, being winter and all. But I was able to make this folk art Santa. Maybe a little late for this Christmas, but I'm super early for next.   :rofl:

 

I used a stained glass pattern for this design.  I cut it from a cedar fence board and distressed the edges and paint.  I used stain to give it that lovely grimy look, then wax topcoat.

Thanks.  I'll get back to the Live Stream again.  It's been so darn cold here lately.  I'll probably start doing it again when the birds have defrosted and started chirping again.  ;)

Travis,  Nice to see some work from your shop again, I have never tried to distress anything before, I might keep this in mind for a project later on.  We need to go out for lunch again but with all the snow and cold weather here in Heppner and there in Vancouver, I guess we will need to wait for spring
