You can buy a cheap replacement led from eBay for about 3 bucks. It is a E17 led appliance bulb. They come from china. they are a little slow with shipping but you can't beat the price. Quote

It is on a single like flex arm and I don't like it, it is hard to keep it in position for scrolling. I think it would be fine for a bench or something. I'd like to find another led magnifer light. Razorburne Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 @Riksss I am getting the DW788 and am thinking of getting the light that comes with it as it seems from some more updated reviews that Dewalt may have changed the original design in order to help with a sagging issue and the light not staying put. Overall, would you recommend the light? If I get it I may pick up the LED bulb you recommend. Is the bulb brighter than the original? Have you had any issues with the placement of the light when working? Any info would be great! Quote
ike Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 I have had several saws with lights and none was worth the moneys they cost, so didn't get one on my DW 788 and I bought a magnifying light from madras for $40 and it works great. It's fastens to the table. I have the saw on vibration pads so there is no vibration to effect the light.. ike Quote
