After obtaining some great tips, I decided to try again to give the king crab pattern some life and appeal. As those the read my previous post about how to go about adding some interest to my boring outline crab pattern, I got several ideas. The one from Timothy was closest to what I was looking for. I did find some other good suggestions from everyone else and I saved their posts in my 'tutorial' folder on my hard drive for further reference as I stumble again, as I know I am. This being said, I looked over the pattern that Timothy posted to sort out the ideas and then I brought up my outline pattern and commenced to try and give it more appeal, using the new ideas I acquired  today. I did not re-look at Timothy's pattern as I wanted to try it on my own.Of course it is a kind of copy so I no longer can make this my pattern but the learning experience was very very helpful for me.. For that I thank all who offered me their assistance. I posted my revision here for an additional comments and suggestions. I keep in mind that I am still in the infancy of my pattern making learning and I am not trying to compete or even imagine that I am in any way even close to the skills the regular pattern makers possess here on The Village. But I feel I am learning a little  with each pattern
