Sorry for the confusion everyone. Interesting responses! No it's not an April's Fools joke it just didn't show up here right away. I figured anyone who was close enough to work with me would know where Guelph is. Anyway, my wife and myself have been making personalized wooden footstools in Canada for 25 years. We're slowing down, but our orders are not. We wholesaled for a lot of the years, but the past few have been direct to the public via our website www.jollywood.ca Other woodworking skills would be an asset as well.

On the right side of command bar near the top of the screen you will see the word more. Click on the arrow and it opens up. Then click on the member map and it should show you who is in your area. I would send those folks a private message.

Well I'm in Stratford. I'm out in the shop most weekends. Don't really know if I could teach you much but if we get a nice day and you and the wife just want to go for a drive feel free to stop. Always happy for the company.

You may want to put a ad up somewhere I've run into plenty of scrollers and other wood hobbiest out here that have never heard of any of these forums.I know hard to believe

Max, this might be the perfect set-up for me, I'm looking to move and I want to stay involved in light woodwork. I would like to get more details on this offer, could you PM or e-mail me the info at lenmullin57atgmail.com? What or how much woodwork is involved in this offer, do I need to bring my own tools? What would I be expected to do, what would the rate of pay be? Would it be by the piece, or would it be per/hr? I take it that this is for part-time work, what would an average year be like? How many hours per week/month/year? Exactly what would I be expected to do/make? I have a few other questions I would like to ask, but I'd rather ask them in a private conversation, so please e-mail me.

Another thought also, would the person have to live where you do?  Maybe in the modern world a person some distance away could do what you want.

I've thought of shipping parts back and forth, but there's not THAT much to do....maybe 10 hours a week. So ideally I find someone in commuting distance.
