Does anyone on the forum know where would be able to find a pattern for this? I know I seen it somewhere but for the life of me I can't remember where.

Hi Todd, I've had a go at the pattern for you,

Bob, I'm not trying to stir the pot, but this pattern copy is a no-no. I appreciate that you were just trying to help Todd out, but this is a copyright infringement. In the future if your going to help a person out this way, you should send the pattern by a PM or e-mail. Posting a pattern copy like this, could get the Village in legal trouble if the original pattern maker wanted to make it. Thank-you for all of the help you give here, but please keep in mind how you post certain patterns.

It is a free pattern on her website so the copyright fear is not an issue. If she was worried about it being copied re used for free etc it would have copyright mark on it and it certainly would not be in her free items she would not put it in the free library and then complain about it being used or copied or changed/added to taken away from, Keep up the good work Bob

Frank, even though it is a free pattern on her site, it's still not proper to make a copy of her patterns. It's the same for her as it is for Steve Good, you can make as many copies of his free patterns for your own use as you want. But Steve and all other pattern designer owned sites, usually have a warning or they ask you to not distribute their patterns. They expect you to direct the person to their site, so that they can get the pattern there themselves. It may not be a copyright issue if the patterns are free, but, it's still not the proper thing to do. I doubt that any of the pattern designers here, like to have their patterns given to people who aren't members here. A while back there used to be a notice on all patterns, the designers would ask that their patterns weren't shared with non members. They would ask you to direct the person to this site to get a copy, rather then have you give a copy to a non member. If you think I'm wrong in my way of thinking, why don't you ask some of the pattern designers here what they think of it? Check with DonR, or Paul (Grampa) and Birchbark, or any other designer you can think of? I doubt that any of them, would appreciate it being done with any of their patterns?

I did check the site before and it says nowhere about sharing changing etc on her free patterns purchased ones are obviously completely different, I understand what you say about the pattern makers not liking them being changed etc and I would not do this I appreciate all the great work the pattern makers do on here and elsewhere and give them respect by not sharing or distributing their efforts  but having seen no such warnings on her site I thought I would let Bob and the person requesting the pattern it was ok to use it rather than it be removed and the OP not getting the item they wanted that was my only reason for the comment. I have no need to ask the other pattern makers on here as I already know the answer and if I was as talented as them I also would not like my work shared or distributed without my permission or without me saying it is fine to do as you like with the pattern. If it was not for the great pattern makers on here I would have had to turn down many item requests as I am not a pattern maker myself but do appreciate the effort it takes to do so. I am sorry if my reply to this thread has offended any of the pattern makers on here as that was not my intention I was merely stating I thought it would be ok to use the said pattern as there was no warnings that I could see prohibiting its use in any way.
