Nature Photographer Ursula Dubrick gave me permission to turn her photo into an intarsia piece.  Friday I went to the hardwood store and asked for walnut.  There was none on the shelf, but they had some in the back, "really not all that great" they said.  But in terms of Intarsia and thinking teddy bears and fur structure, the wood was simply gorgeous.

Thanks guys.  Hope to continue sanding on the weekend.  Maybe I can sneak a couple of hours before. 

are you using walnut for the eyes and snout or is that another speices?
