I have been away for a while playing with my lathe. Had to stop making so much dust in the house and the lathe is out in a little shed.

My scroll saw is in the basement. So till I get a garage with a warm room built onto the house I won't be doing much sawing.

Here are a few pictures of some of the pens I have made and if I can I will throw in a bowl.

Beautiful bowl.  I like the pens too.  I can't get hubby interested in turning pens (yet).  Thanks for sharing.

Melanie, I'm not to sure you'd want to, it's expensive to get set-up properly. I've been turning pens for a couple of years, I give the ones I turn away. There's no market for them around here, plus people would far rather buy one at the dollar store. I've given away sixty three of them so far, and I still have over a hundred kits and blanks on hand. I never did intend to sell them, I just wanted something else to do.

Your pens look great. I also turn pens which are given away. Over the last few years I have sold less than a dozen. Those were sold by accident. Someone asks if they are for sale of course I take their money. For me it is just a fun diversion.
