tgiro Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 I guess this is the place for this. The show is a the TImonium Fairgrounds, January 5-7. I'll be there on Saturday, 6th. If you've never seen one of these shows, I can recommend them. They are held in a number of cities across the country through the year. They cover way more than just scroll sawing. The shop gadgets will amazw you. http://www.thewoodworkingshows.com/baltimore.html Quote
Lucky2 Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 Yes Tony, they put on great shows/sales, there's usually one about eighty miles from where I live. I always attend them, they have some great deals. The last one that I went to, I spent a couple of thousand dollars on things. I bought so much, I couldn't fit it all in my van, fortunately, I have friends that live in that city. So I just dropped a load off in my buddy's garage, and I picked it up a couple of days later. I don't understand why they call them shows though, they all are selling their equipment, not just showing it. Len Quote
stevan Posted December 21, 2017 Report Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) I have two very good friends and we have made a trip to the Indianapolis or Columbus Woodworking Show pretty much a tradition. I think I have only missed two/three in about 15 years but my buddies have made every one. So many tools and toys that I will never buy!!!!! Edited December 21, 2017 by stevan Quote
Sycamore67 Posted December 21, 2017 Report Posted December 21, 2017 I am likely to go to the one in Indianapolis. It looks like a reasonable list of companies. Quote
