Yeah Kevin cold over here too.   Was 5f when I got up about 6am then dropped down to 0 for a while when it started the get daylight.   You really do need to get some heat in your workshop. LOL

Might have it by next year.. I have the whole upstairs all insulated ( very well ).. but have yet done anything downstairs yet.. Hope to get the downstairs insulated this summer and then if any money is left.. I might throw a furnace in there.. We are planning to upgrade out house furnace.. if at all possible if the heater folks say it could work out in the shop.. I may use that out there.. My house furnace is in the attic.. and is down forced. So I don't know why I couldn't put it up in the loft and duct a few ducts down each side of the shop for heat.

Also so I don't need to heat the whole shop.. I may make a closed off woodshop area that would stay heated.. with optional heat to the other areas.. just no sense heating empty space.. maybe I just need more tools to fill the space? LOL No worries. my son seems to always block up the one stall with some sort of car project.. LOL.. He's got big dreams for a little 1984 Nissan 300zx right now that's taken up one bay all winter.. and guess what... too cold for him so it's just sitting there.. twice now I had to work on my van.. OUTSIDE.. in the snow.. Darn kids.. :)

I'm working at it either way.. one day it'll be heated..

Glad all that moisture we have had the past two days (nearly 3 inches) was all rain and not snow.  If it had been snow - we would have had close to 30 inches of snow. (According to google. ;)) Would have immobilized this area for weeks! ;)  Schools have already been out due to high levels of flu. High yesterday was mid/upper 60's.  Today, we are having 20 degrees below that so high of close to 47.  Quite balmy in comparison still to you guys in the great white North. :)  By Wed., we are suppose to be pushing 70.  About a 50% chance of rain all week into the weekend.  But again, glad its rain.  You all can keep the snow. Kevin - I hope you can dig your way to work soon. ;)  Orders await!

+ Same thing going on here in NJ. Weird winter. For the next 2 weeks 40;s and 50's in the middle of winter. Not complaining but wonder what the summer will be like. Yesterday 62 degrees with 2 inches of rain. My shop is in the basement so no worries about that stuff.

Had to come it and message a customer seems I now have yet another order in the works :)  .. anyway.. big warm up coming here mid week.. but boy will it be messy.. Supposed to get in the 40's but with that.. Rain.. so.. with the warm air.. and rain melting off this snow.. just going to be messy.. Then go back to 20's on Friday I think was what they said.. That might be interesting getting to work :)

At Christmas time gathering with the family etc.. many jokes about my going to work etc.. so I told them I had been late to work 4 days in a row and had to pull myself into the office and give myself a verbal warning for being late.. Had them all  laughing at that one.. :)

Really? I have a remote thermometer display here right next to me.  At this moment  it is 63.3 degrees outside and 74.2 degrees inside.  The only white stuff that I see out the window is the fog on the lake.  The lake water is colder than the air, so this is an almost daily fog in the mornings now.

Guess I can’t make it to work today. Plows haven’t plowed yet and while it’s not too far to go. I could slip and fall :) . Not sure if you can tell but I walk to work and it’s uphill both ways too.  Lol  whopping 5F out there today and 3 orders to make.

Nice looking workshop. Lousy location though. Ha!
