John B Posted September 2, 2018 Report Posted September 2, 2018 That looks pretty damn good. I have only had fresh smoked meats once, I'd be happy to have them every day. Enjoy smitty0312 1 Quote

I had this smaller "Smoke Hollow" brand that I bought last year.....it did fine for smaller stuff like pork butts, turkey breasts, whole chickens...….but it wasn't wide or deep enough to do whole turkeys.....I don't think these ribs would have fit, could cut them in half though......it was very portable & I think I only paid $60 for it...… Edited September 2, 2018 by smitty0312 Quote
smitty0312 Posted September 2, 2018 Author Report Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) This smoker cost me $249.99 on sale.....$100 off.....love it....it's on wheels for easy move around......INVEST IN A GOOD THERMOMETER with internal meat probe & external probe for smoker temp(can't go by thermometer on door) ……. I paid $50 for mine......you can spend a lot more......this is a "low end" one.....this make your life much easier..... I have been looking at the same one you have. I might just have to get an early Christmas present. I have a fresh ham in the freezer that I wanted to do for Thanksgiving. Our Daughter bought a new house and wants to host this year so I told her I would do the Ham and Turkey. What was I thinking??? smitty0312 1 Quote
