Change of Seasons

For those in northern parts of the continent autumn has started to march in. Every day there are new batches of color blossoming on trees We've had a bounty of acorns this year, always a sign of fall. It's hard to walk down the drive without slipping on them. Some low temps in the 40's here last week. Great sleeping weather. So nice to have the windows open. And if you are out for a quiet walk during the day you are likely to hear either ducks or geese gathering for their trip south. I'm sorry you can't all enjoy the change.

We have four seasons where I live.  I love them all.  Never had a desire to live where the weather is the say all year.

We have 4 seasons. They are cool, HOT cool, cold. Hot is 6 months long.

And with the change comes the time when I make the shift from outside activities to the basement woodshop. Looking forward to making some sawdust.

We have 4 seasons just like the rest of the world, problem is we basically only get 2 temperatures - hot/humid to not hot/humid LOL

Russ sounds like you live in PA. We have 4 seasons of construction cones

Ya, I know of some places in Oregon that I'm sure some of the workers started there as their first job and are now about to retire from the same location!!  One of the main streets in Spokane, WA was under construction when I was in high school and visited there.  It is still under construction and I'm pretty sure the same sign are used.....

When you live in Wisconsin you have 5 seasons. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall and Road Construction.  LOL

OldHudson and nrscroller, I live very near you guys. We have gotten a wonderful start to fall. Every day I am grateful for it not being winter quite yet.
