Foxfold Posted August 28, 2019 Report Posted August 28, 2019 Looks like you're doing a grand job up to now. It will look beautiful when you've finished, I'm sure Quote
Jim McDonald Posted August 28, 2019 Report Posted August 28, 2019 That probably is mahogany. And it will look great at the end. What kind of vehicle does this jewel steer? Quote
oldhudson Posted August 28, 2019 Report Posted August 28, 2019 I'm excited about this new project. I have an interest in restoration. I hope you can explain the steps. Quote

teachnlearn Posted August 29, 2019 Report Posted August 29, 2019 I'm ex navy. Wonder if they have a wooden ships wheel. Would probably have to be put on an old antique or the airbag, and type steering wheel would make it illegal. RJF Quote
amazingkevin Posted August 30, 2019 Report Posted August 30, 2019 A Mercedes parts store asked me if I could redo wood steering wheels,no idea what that entails.your doing good though!!! Quote

This is not a easy job. Quote

innar20 Posted September 1, 2019 Author Report Posted September 1, 2019 So... If you use parguet wax - you must predict the wood color with lack or oil! I did this mistake.... Overall - ready! Be_O_Be and Falcon 2 Quote
