I find some wood, something called Radiata, really pretty grain, pretty price too So be honest now, how many of you knew this wood named Radiata? I had to look it up after I got home and put away my yard stick. RabidAlien and John B 2 Quote
Sycamore67 Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 I have used that pine. It can be plantation grown and used also for plywood. I have used a lot of Araucoply which is a good grade of plywood. I built all of my shop cabinet cases from it. RabidAlien 1 Quote

Some one discovered that it grows like buggery in Australian and New Zealand conditions Just about all timber framed homes in Oz are framed with treated Radiata. Cheers wombatie and JimErn 1 1 Quote
