teachnlearn Posted December 4, 2019 Report Posted December 4, 2019 (edited) Keyboards can be cleaned. Buy one of the electronics cleaners. Make sure its powered off, tilt the keyboard spray. Work each key. If keys stick, take a picture of the key board, Take a small screw driver and pop the keys off. Use an old toothbrush and keyboard cleaner and brush all the gunk off, working the switches. Let dry according to can. Snap the keys back on. If you don't know some, power up and turn on a word processor and press the missing keys. Make sure all the keys are seated well. Over the years all kinds of oils, dirt, dust, coffee, coke, 'beer' can find its way between the keys. Haven't checked, but I'm sure there are a whole batch of keyboard cleaning videos out there. Can use the rest of your spray on any auto/ house electronic/ switches. I go with electronics cleaner cause the alcohol or additive can react with the lettering or plastic or components so I go with a cleaner that is rated for electronics. scroller777 Posted December 6, 2019 Report Posted December 6, 2019 When I read your response I instantly had the Deer in the headlights look. I giggled because I wasn't clear on my question. I recently purchased a computer and have downloaded Inkscape. My issue is trying to download fonts, say, from dafont.com I am trying to view them in Inkscape which at this point I don't know how to do. If you know how to remedy this situation I would appreciate any help. Thank you Steve Quote

Thank you Steve Down load the fonts to the desktop, if they're zipped unzip them then right click on them and then click install. once a font is installed in the computer all programmes can access them. teachnlearn Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 I don't know if all fonts have it, but many have a pdf in the folder showing what the fonts look like. RJF Quote
