Been a busy day so far

I am retired from Corp America and live out in the woods so this social distancing is not a big change for me. Decided last night to make today a dog day and prepped and laid out 15 HB dogs. So after a cup of coffee this morning I started, far so good, you sort of get into a rhythm. Luckily my daughter just came into the shop with some fresh peanutbutter cookies so I had to take a break.

It is poplar, sadly it had a bit of cup the length of the board so it took a bit of prep work. Great day.

I frequently get cupped wood. I don't have a planer or flea sander so I make sure the cup side is down when cutting.

Still a nice job. I don't have a planer either but it's on my wish list. It just looked really light colored in the photo. I'm like Rocky I do the best prep I can then turn the cupped side down. It usually works well. keep up the good work.
