My son-in-law Jon closed his (mostly takeout) Chippy in Oshawa, Ontario five weeks ago out of concern for both his employees and customers.

Over the last two weeks, I built a wall that incorporates a walk-through, a talk-through, and a pass-through.  The objective was a to have a structure that protects everyone, does not get in the way of anyone, and retains the ambiance of the place.

P.B.s Fish and Chips is reopening today for take out only and everyone agrees that wall I built achieves the objectives that I set for it.

Here is a 'before' photo with Jon behind the counter:

Here he is in an 'after' photo:

Well done. I hope he will have great success!

Thanks.

On the re=opening day they sold out of both halibut and haddock, leaving only cod.  I was not there, but Jon told me that everyone obeyed the separation rules and that things flowed smoothly.
