Soon be Christmas

Sue may pattern. I enjoyed cutting this one and the hard woods are fantastic to cut. 

Cedar, Yew, Beech, Chestnut, and Apple.

This is the largest pattern I have cut to date and it sure takes time. When I see the projects people do with hundreds of cuts I take my hat off to them.

This pattern is 18 inches long, I had to chock up the back of the saw to make it more comfortable to turn the pattern. I suppose you could use a spiral blade but I do not get on with them.

that is fantastic!!! and simply beautiful!!!  now that I know why so many of my fretwork projects keep breaking and how to correct the problem Im  thiking after I really get back into the swing of things I might just try to do something that spectular !!

I hate spiral blades, so I guess I will have to see if I can do it with just plain old flat blades.
