Charlie E Posted May 20, 2020 Report Posted May 20, 2020 A friend of mine is into metal detecting and I decided to give it a try with an old Walmart detector I bought for my son years ago. I went to the site of my old elementary school and found this old Tootsietoy car from the 50's or 60's and some coins including this wheat penny. Neither are worth anything but it's a cool feeling knowing they've most likely been in the ground for around a half century. I ordered an entry level detector today so now I'm a multihobbyist. Rockytime Posted May 20, 2020 Report Posted May 20, 2020 Your next hobby should be restoring that car. Lots of you tube on such restorations. Love that old stuff. I still have cast iron vehicles from when I was a little shaver. danny and Charlie E 2 Quote
