The box itself is flocked with kelly green as well as the lid inside. The black felt display for the necklace is a thin piece of cardboard with black felt glued to the surface. The box was finished with semi-gloss lacquer. The box is 2 7/8" x 2" x 1 1/2" DW Quote
WolfmoonCT Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 That's nice. I'm hoping to finish one of the single heart candle holders I posted before, but out of cherry. I found a piece of end cut with bark on it still, so when I planed it down it appears that there must have been a branch or something in that area, cause the grain is really tight and swirly looking. I'll get some pics when I finish it. Here is a pic of it without any finish on it. Just sanded to 220. Quote
