heppnerguy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I just got a phone call from Scrappile's (Paul Douglass) wife informing me that Paul suffered another stroke and was in the hospital. This was his third stroke and his left hand is still closed but his can once again move his am and can walk while assisted in the hospital. I sure hope he recovers completely and I am asking for prayers for him. He is a wonderful stroller and as you all probably know, he has recently started to do some intarsia. I personally met Paul for lunch probably about 14 years ago and we have become really good friends. I just wanted everyone in The Village to know why it will probably be some time before we are privileged to see his wood working, if at all again. MarieC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Dick, Yes, I was told by @preprius, who saw a message on Paul's member's page. His son reached out to me and I plan to visit Paul when he is up for visitors. I understand he is in a nursing home in the tricities. He is in my prayers. Quote
