FrankEV Posted December 12, 2020 Report Posted December 12, 2020 I use Pegas #2/0 Mod Geometry R blades and #2/0 Spiral blades for much of my really small intricate detailed work including stack cutting up to 1/2" (4 layers of 1/8", or 2 layers of 1/4" Ply). #0 and #1 blades are still relatively small blades and will work better where possible. I'm in the process of cutting some full 3/4" solid poplar using Pegas #1 spiral blades right now and there is no poblem (as long as you don't kink the blade ). Highly suggest you choose BB ply over Luan. Luan will not produce good result for small details, Surface grain is very large and will not sand or take a finish well either. If you are not purchesing you panel material on-line, Home Depot does carry 2'x4' sheets of 1/4" BB ply that looks nice. I just looked at some yesterday. Order Pegas blades from https://www.artcraftersonline.com HTH amazingkevin and LarryEA 2 Quote

Sparkey Posted December 19, 2020 Report Posted December 19, 2020 I stack cut three layers of 1/4” and use mostly FD New 3/0 spirals. They cut pretty small. Quote
