Did the pattern originally have the water in the top of the water wheel? That is a nice touch. The fluid shape of the wood to catch the water detail. Quote

Yes, that was a nice touch by the designer, but it was a pain to cut and fit. Quote

That seams to work for me unless I am finishing something white like Aspen, then I use a water base finish. Jim Quote
