Sincerely"

Now, in his defense ... he got is degree as a needed entry to become a naval pilot... He is retired Navy, F-14 than F-18 Superhornet pilot... now flying for FedEx.. and he calls me to ask electrical questions....!!

I knew of 3 of them, I did not know about the cutter for the sheath. That said the only one I use is the strip length guide. If you are going to do your own wiring you should have the proper tools.  There is also a no no in the video I wonder how many of you picked up on it. The only electrical work that I don't do is the main power panel feed.

On the last part, he put the wire loop the wrong way aroung the the screw.  When tightening the screw, it will start to force the wire end out of the connection.  FYI.  If you turn off the power, working on the main is no different than working on outlets.

I should say that I do run new circuits and make the Connections in the box. I meant the actual feed to the box.

I am glad that you all caught the wire wrap. direction.

JT I agree with you if a "professional) showed up with crap tools he would be done.  Sometimes being a tool junkie and knowing how to properly do things can be challenging watching others work.
