Nice break

Scroll saw break this weekend, 2 1/2 hr drive to Springfield to watch our Daughter play collage soccer today. Then tomorrow we drive down to Champaign to do it all again then a trip to Costco to buy her groceries for the month lol ..... Kids who'd have em 🫣

Enjoy. I miss those days. My daughter played college Volleyball after playing travel and high school ball. Been 4 years since she graduated from college. Time flies for sure. I spent many years on the road with my kids traveling sports, starting with gymnastics at the age of 6. So from then through college for her was about 16 years of sports travels. I miss it sometimes.

Her two brothers played collage sports too. This could be her last year, depends whether she elects to go on to a 4 year college. It's been nice though free school !

My daughter "played" in college... She should have studied.   Actually she did fine, but I like to tease her.. Just my way of showing love.  Now this is going to be crude, but I have to tell it... She was an Animal Science  major , what ever that it..  She should have been in Vet school.. For Christmas  she sent a Christmas card,  One of her and all in the class, all standing in a row, each behind a cow, each with a Santa hat on, and each with their arms insert in the,, well standing behind the cow, checking for babies I guess.  She was always crazy like that,, must have got it from her Mom..

Sounds just like my kids, they all raise pigs and goats mainly show animals.

When the pigs give birth it's always my daughter with her arm up their........ The boys excuse " her arms are smaller. Funny how those pics made it onto Christmas cards too.

hope you daughter wears eye protection when playing.  My daughter lost sight in one eye from a ball - The impact caused the retina to fold.

Well a successful day, a good drive there and back with my soulmate and a 3-1 win for our team.

 Early night tonight, I've enough time to watch the Man U game in the morning then head out to do it all again !! 

Edit ... We found the time to pop into a Walmart to pick up some odds and ends and I picked up ingredients for DIY acrylic cleaner and thinner ..... Yes we will be trying out the airbrush next week

After watching many videos I've come to the realization that most folks use the cheap Dollar store window spray cleaner to ckean their airbrushes. Similar to Windex but cheaper. Have you bought a SS strainer yet? And a spray cleaner bottle to spray the cleaner into? I've ordered both from Amazon. The list just keeps on growing.

2:40 am and can't sleep because of nerve pain in my stump, one of the joys of being a amputee ughhhh.

 My concoctions for cleaner and thinner include 

Thinner distilled water, iso alcohol 91% and glycerin

Cleaner all the above plus Windex .

I don't have the ratios handy but I can post later if you are interested.

For some reason I already have a multiple set if ss strainers, I think I got them for varnish/stain for a marquerty job I was doing ?

Bottles arrived yesterday from Amazon while I was out.

We went away for the weekend, we did almost 1200K around Victoria.  Awesome weather, lots of kangaroos, rivers, lakes and bush land.  Fabulous time.

That's great Marg it's always nice to get away from the daily grind . We did about 500 miles all in and no kangaroos lol
