Thanks Colin. I'm a bit under the weather today with sinus issues from breathing too much sawdust. I may buy the Dewalt shop vac you've been discussing to hook up to my scroll saw for my birthday present. :) I've got a jet air filter hanging in the shop but nothing at the saw itself. I usually get sick 2 or 3 times a year so it'd probably be money well spent.

Happy birthday Charlie. I also have an air cleaner hanging right above 2 of my saws and have dust control on both. But I still wear a respirator style mask. My shop is so small that I an working in a condensed environment. I still get sinus/nasal congestion. I attribute it mostly to the interior makeup of my nose. Too much fat! Anyway, I hope you have a great day and many more to come.

Thank you. I had my nose splattered with a softball when I was younger so mine isn’t in great shape either. I know dust collection has been discussed quite a bit so I’ll have to look back at the threads.

Darned sports. I'm glad I wasn't coordinated enough to play anything but billiards. Oh and competitive pistol shooting. That I was good at.

Sorry to hear that Charlie, not the way you want to spend your birthday!

 Yeah...I think the vac's a pretty good buy I'll be getting it hooked up to the saw soon too!  I did have a wen air cleaner but it bit the dust, so now I've got Four high Merv filters and a box fan doing the job actually better than the commercial filter.
