fonts

I was asked to make some going away plaques for some people at work. I am looking for a easy font to use. The shape of the plaques is the state of Oklahoma. they will be be about 15 x 8 . Thank you for your help.

There's a free font called Oklahoma. Just make a few bridges and it will work.

The Oklahoma font is really cool but would require bridges as Dan says.  I used Texas as I just don't need any more fonts in my library.

Another suggestion is Wordart as it is an easy font to scroll. I showed an example of the characters that need bridges.

If you are unfamiliar with creating bridges, Travis has done a great tutorial to help you out using Inkscape.  You will be in a position to choose any font that pleases your eye.

Check out Dafont.com.  There are thousands of fonts there.
