Need some advice

I've purchased a DW788 and I'm wondering what type plades I should get.

Spiral vs regular?

Does anyone have any websites I can visit to learn the basics , intermediate, etc.....?

That's going to be totally up to you which type to use. I use mostly flat, and spirals when the project calls for it.

 

I cut much straighter lines with flat. But i know people who use nothing but spirals.

I'd suggest you get a few of both types and give em a try.

Mike, I would start with a flat blade. Spirals take a bit of getting used to, they cut in any direction you move the wood. Flat blades leave a much smoother cut. I use both but prefer the flat blades.

myself I prefer flat blades. I've used spirals but just don't like them, I fel I have more control with the flat blades.

Do all the flat blades have the same tooth count or doesn't it matter.?
