My brother reached out to me inquiring if I could make a number of these ornaments.  Can anyone make a couple of patterns for me, please?  There needs to be a small(ish) change though.  Instead of DDGM 15-16 it needs to read Grand Master, and one that would read Grand Historian.  Thanks in advance for consideration.

I will give it a go.

But I looked up the Masonic emblem and there are a number of different ones.  Does your brother have a picture of his or is this a good representation.  Look at the G,

I am not sure how small the letters will have to be but I doubt they will fit.  Put on 2 lines??

Any idea on the final size.?

Don,  Thanks for wanting to give it a go!

I haven't yet talked to him about this.  He sent this photo, so I am assuming this design is okay.  I have asked him about the size and would 2 lines be okay.  Haven't heard back from him.  As soon as I do, I will post the information here.

Like Don said, it's doable. There are many different emblems with different details (and probably different meanings). Here's a more generic design. If this fits the bill I will make the next one.

Dan,  Thanks for your time in making this.  As I mentioned, I haven't talked with my brother yet, but will let you know as soon as I do.

I still haven't chatted with my brother about this, but thought I might throw this link in.  This is my brother!!

That was an interesting read Barb.

I was a member of the AOOF (Ancient Order of Foresters). Both my Grandfather and great uncle were Grand Masters.

I chatted with my brother last night about this.  It is to be kept quite simple. Yeah!  A basic compass & square (without the markings) and the G are all that is required.  Plus the bottom section to put the words in.  Two lines is fine.  The preferred font would be Quattrocentos or Raleway.  He would like it to be about 4x4 but can be as big as 6x6.  If the "popsicle stick area" (his words) is too small for cutting the words, his suggestion was to leave it available for a calligrapher to write on it.

I now leave this in your very capable hands, pattern designers.

Thanks again for any help.

Both of these should be the 4". Not sure why they are displaying different sizes. Hope they work for you. If you want any changes just let me know. Hopefully someone will toss in their drawings to give you a choice.

Thanks Dan.  I will try to get one cut and send to my brother before I cut the quantity he is after.
