Scrappile Posted April 12, 2023 Report Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) saw these this morning and thought wouldn't these be helpful in intarsia work to sand in the small places. https://www.woodworkingshop.com/sanding-sticks?&utm_campaign=campaign%3A+April+12%2C+2023+(6434462dc96f45001409e19f)&utm_medium=email&utm_source=omnisend&omnisendContactID=607eadd219719750893c126a Edited April 12, 2023 by Scrappile Quote
Gene Howe Posted April 12, 2023 Report Posted April 12, 2023 They are, indeed. I bought a few back when I was doing bandsaw boxes. Scrappile 1 Quote
dgman Posted April 12, 2023 Report Posted April 12, 2023 I have a set of those. I use them on fret work when needed. Because they are manual, I would not use them for shaping though. Quote
barb.j.enders Posted April 13, 2023 Report Posted April 13, 2023 I have one of those. Don't use it very often. It is great for getting corners. Quote
JessL Posted April 13, 2023 Report Posted April 13, 2023 May have to try those. Looking for anything to help with the sanding now that I am doing lots of interior cuts. Quote

Even the thinnest one may be too big for some cuts. I lay out 6 or 8 skinny popsicle sticks, spray with 3M 77 and cover them with sand paper, then cut them apart. 100 on one side and 150 on the other. JessL 1 Quote
Roberta Moreton Posted April 13, 2023 Report Posted April 13, 2023 I use emery boards from the discount (dollar) store. I cut them to fit smaller areas. JessL 1 Quote
