Walt To The Rescue

You would think that as long as this saw has been manufactured  that the company would have devised a way of holding up the top arm to change blades, move the work piece to feed the blade into next hole or what ever needs to be done with out resorting to coming up with home made  apparatuses to do the job!  Your item is a neat way to do the job but just saying......

A lot of guys used to tighten the bolt that connects the arm to the frame.  Kinda similar to how the Excalibur works.  I had always heard that there was a risk of damaging the Dewalt that way, but not sure why.  I had a Jim Dandy EZ Lift on my Dewalt for years and would not want to be without it.  Should Dewalt incorporate some OEM solution to the "problem"?  Maybe, but I imagine they don't necessarily see it as a problem.
