raymondb Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 This is one of those ... anyone remember or have a link to questions ... Years ago, I remember having an application on my computer that provided an index to the contents of the old Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazine. Naturally, I cannot find it and I wanted to find a pattern that was in it. Anyone have an idea about the application and where to get it? Right now I am looking for the issue that contains an oval basket where you have to flip the layers around to glue it up but sure would love to have the overall index! Thanks loads Quote
don in brooklin on Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 This is the index that I got from Karl one of the members here I think. It is not complete but pretty close. I have only limited number of issues but I will look for oval basket. Creative Woodworks Index-3.xlsx jollyred, OCtoolguy and TAIrving 3 Quote
Mickey Johnson Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 I'm looking for the name of the font in Creative Woodworks & Crafts Magazine (January 2007) of shadow design. thanks Quote
don in brooklin on Posted September 20, 2025 Report Posted September 20, 2025 I am not sure that that is a font. The closest I have is UMBRA-NORMAL. It might work. See sign below. I only have a very few issues of CWCM and this happens to be one I have. I scanned the letters, Sorry it is not straight and smudge in middle. If you need the article let me know. cc font.pdf Quote
don in brooklin on Posted September 20, 2025 Report Posted September 20, 2025 (edited) As I sit here and watch my Blue Jays get killed by KC I have played around and the UMBRA font is exactly the same. I used 88 point and spacing width of 10 it works okay. In the article they put in fillers between letters but I don't think you have to do any of that as I think will be kerned correctly. I will cut this in a couple of days and see how is looks. Edited September 20, 2025 by don in brooklin on Jim McDonald, Fab4 and barb.j.enders 3 Quote

Hope the Jays get their "hits" together before the playoffs start no comeback in site tonight. well done with the font Don Quote
