Drill Bits Drawer

Hubby is remodeling his shop as he is running out of room.  He built a new storage cabinet and installed a drawer just for his drill bits.  Instead of buying separate containers he used pvc pipe cut in half and then to length of the bits.  Works really well and we already had the pvc pipes.

One could also do that for scroll saw blades.

That is a great looking setup.  Never thought of the PVC divider, very good idea. Probably too organized for me.  I'd feel I needed to dress up fancy to work in my ship!  I'd rather spend my time hunting for things I have miss placed.  Kinda like an endless treasure hunt!

Yes they are glued down to keep them from rolling over.

How did he cut it, so it wasn't rolling all over the place? Was a jig used, utility knife?

He cut the pvc on his table saw. Was very careful to hold it straight and tight so it wouldn't roll over .
