Two times I've given  things away to people I worked many hours to produce...
I had a relative say she gave it away to a friend and another I just found out it was re-gifted..
The reason I gave the things away in the first place was because they commented how nice they were but I guess they were just being nice.
Kinda bummed out but maybe it's better than them saying it's not wanted, keep it.
Sigh...................

My kids come right out and say it. They don't want it.  I understand.  Most scroll saw work is neat but it does not fit into most peoples decor.  I only give away things that honor something for someone, like giving military emblems to veterans.  I only make and give things to my kids if they ask for it.

I made my former MIL ( a very ornery battleax ) cry on Christmas by giving her a rose themed fretwork shelf. She never gave it up. She told me it was the first time anyone ever made something for her.

Pat yourself on the back for showing your True Christian Spirit. The World needs more people like you.
