Will It Reach???

I've been contemplating getting a magnetic sheet to place on my saw table but wonder if the thickness would render the reverse blades (MGT) ineffective of reducing the fuzzies on the bottom of the piece. Has anyone ever tried this and if so, how well did the magnetic sheet protect the table and did you see any difference in you cuts?

You don’t mention what saw you have. With the EX type saws like EX, Pegas, DeWALT and newer Delta saws, you can mount the blades higher or lower in the clamps. I don’t know about the other type saws like RBI or Hegner. The magnetic sheets are not that thick. I’d say try it and find out.

Dan, I apologize for not including my saw in the initial post. I have the Pegas 30-inch. And dummy me, I didn't even think about raising the blade slightly in the clamps. Thanks for your comment and for flipping the light switch in this aging brain.
