Update on the Bauer 22 inch from HF

I opened the link to see the saw, and after scrolling for 24 years, I think it would drive me crazy to have the top thumb screw and blower on the opposite side from what I'm used to.  But then, crazy isn't too far off for me anyway, so maybe no one else would have a problem with that.

I noticesd that also. Maybe it can be reveresed. Some saws are that way.

Interesting.  I'd like to get a closer look at one, but I know my local Lowes doesn't have it.  I was just in there yesterday.

Yes Dewalt has a liscensing thing with Lowes and have several tools only available with them. I did not know they had this sander either.

Just for info out there, Lowes carrys a stand that looks like the one for the 788 and is $52. It is made to fit their saws.

yes I saw it for first time on Amazon? then I found it at Lowes and thought it would be as well as the older model DW788 but it was more like the older Delta 16" I first bought to cut my teeth in the skill.
