Alex Fox Basket C261 Stained

A basket C261 pattern by Alex Fox. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood 10"square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. Before gluing, an artist in studio at ArtCrafters wanted to stain it. After sanding, gluing, spraying with Shellac, another coat of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.

That looks great. The Blue Stain took your wonderful cutting and assembly up a notch.

What kind of stain was used and how was it applied.  Me thinks it is actually a dye or water-color paint(?).

Thanks Alex.  I deserve no credit for the finishing.  Done by a local artist in studio.

I checked with the artist, Nela.  She painted each ring separate with Liquitex Acrylic Ink.  Nela taught art a local elementary school for 25 years.
