Wichman Posted December 13, 2025 Report Posted December 13, 2025 (edited) Due to a printing error, I had ornament patterns that were close to 1/2 the size of the originals, the smaller patterns cut fine, even stacked 4 and 5 high ( 1/2" to 5/8" thick plywood ). I did switch to 2/0 blades ( FD, Polar blades ). Edited December 13, 2025 by Wichman Additional information OCtoolguy, danny and barb.j.enders 3 Quote
Scrappile Posted December 13, 2025 Report Posted December 13, 2025 I downsize and increase the sizes of patterns all the time. One options for printing is "custom" size, where you can enter the % size you want it to be. If I want it bigger than will fit a 8.5 x 11 paper I use "poster print" with adobe files or a free software called "Splitprint". I really like it you can add cut marks, page numbers. I print some adobe with it also because I and designate the size I want in inches. Before do that I take the pattern to my editor and crop out any border that may be around the image. philipcollier and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
rjweb Posted December 14, 2025 Report Posted December 14, 2025 Edward, if your printer does,t do custom size for copying, take it to office depot or office max and have them do it, RJ OCtoolguy 1 Quote
JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted December 14, 2025 Report Posted December 14, 2025 I too down size as well as increase all the time. If it fits on legal paper I do it on my printer. If not I go to FedX and do it there. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Denny Knappen Posted December 15, 2025 Report Posted December 15, 2025 I use Photoshop Elements and change sizes all the time based on supply of wood. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
