kywoodmaster Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Ok I found where the wife had stashed the books. I proceeded to steal volume 1 last evening. The wife and grandkids have family night on Friday. I not doing a movie buff prefer music or reading. I took up position in the bedroom after dinner and started to read. Falling asleep I gave up at chapter 13 last night. We have had crappy weather today so I decided to read today. It has been many years since I had a marathon reading. Just finished it a few minutes ago. This book hits it all for me. I am a die hard Sherlock Holmes fan, an amateur wood worker a n a hopeless romantic. There are enough twist and turns to herp you guessing. (Nice use of the package delivery.) If I could find anything wrong with the book it would be the dog on page 1 needed a name. LOL I am also a huge dog lover. Keep writing, can't wait to start #2. Also let us know when #3 is ready. LOL I am also a huge dog lover. Since you asked I named the hound: here is a sneak preview just for you: Quote “I don’t think I ever asked,” Paisley said, scratching the soft place behind one ear. “What’s his name?” “Brome.” Paisley looked up. “I’ve never heard that before.” “Because you haven’t met enough literary potters with hounds.” Bert wiped his hands on a towel. “He’s named for Lake Brome in Canada. Favorite mystery writer of mine lives near there. Brome here is a bookworm too, in his way.” The hound looked abashed as Bert pointed to a book under his workbench that had been thoroughly chewed up. “Oh my,” Paisley said. Book 3 is slated for July 15. The above excerpt is from book 5 keep on reading. And if you have it in you to paste your above wonderful comments into a review on Amazon, I would really appreciate it. meflick Posted Monday at 12:39 AM Posted Monday at 12:39 AM My daughter used my kindle to get Unlimited so I’ve now read book 2. Nice work. I’ll try to remember to look for your 3rd book later this week. Curious, Do you get paid anything when someone reads one of your books through Kindle Unlimited as opposed to buying the book? I hate to think you get nothing when it’s read on Unlimited. Montserrat 1 Quote
Montserrat Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago (edited) I get a little bit, Mel. NO need to feel guilty. At the end of reading, could you give it stars and possible write a couple of words about it? I think you only need to 10 words or so. But it would mean the world.
