Popular Post Scrappile Posted January 28 Popular Post Report Posted January 28 Have this done except for the frame. I'm thinking I need to stain the frame a dark brown... What do you think? The picture is 17" x 12". 3/8" thick Butternut wood. It is beautiful wood and scrolls real nice. It is a Russ Beard pattern; he is one of my favorite pattern designers. Wichman Posted January 28 Report Posted January 28 I used Inkscape to simulate the colors, yes, a darker stain would look nice. Nice cutting. Scrappile 1 Quote
Dan Posted January 28 Report Posted January 28 Very nice. We have a neighbor that has a small herd of highland cattle. They are the cutest cattle I've ever seen. Yes, a darker frame would look nice. Scrappile 1 Quote

We have a good friend who loves these cows. I am thinking about making her an Intarsia one, after I confirm that it is truly something she loves. As always your work is outstanding. Love it. I like the frame as it is because to me, using the little darker wood for the project, a lighter frame is more fitting. Dick heppnerguy Scrappile 1 Quote

I fact, I get to do it again this one is already spoken for. I look forward to cutting it again. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10238525246938035&set=pcb.5214927568731345 GPscroller 1 Quote

As always, a beautiful job. I think I like the frame in a lighter color as the background color is on the darker side. Just my opinion for what ever that may be worth..I know your talent far exceeds mine, so you probably have a much better idea than I would ever come up with. Dick heppnerguy Scrappile 1 Quote
